Conventions

Our commerical is over. The new project for a music video will be very fun.  Our group is staying the same for the music video.  The filming process for the commercial was good. Our original idea was what ended up happening for the commercial. The group started looking for songs to choose last class period and we decided on the song today in class.

The song that  was chosen is Sunkissed by Khai Dreams. The genre of this song is pop. Although it doesn’t sound like pop the song is the pop genre. We chose this song because of the sound of the music. Our other choices for music were  Grow by The Oh Hellos and Ultimately by Khai Dreams. Khai Dreams is an Indie Pop artist. We also chose this song because it was agreed by everyone in the group to do this song.

The last project we did as a group was the converse commercial. The commercial was good and turned out very well. The only problems we had were with the editing. The computers wouldn’t work and use the editing software.  Eventually we used IMovie and finished the project. Then we emailed it to the teacher. The shots we used for the last project were a pan, tilt, 2 shots, and close up. The edits we used were jump cuts and fade outs.

We plan to use a lot more editing and shots in the next project. The music videos actors have already been thought about with our group members. The Costumes have not been decided yet. The lightning will hopefully be good. The music video must be 1:15 long. The music video will have a story board of at least 15 slides.  After we do the storyboard we must film and edit our music video. The CCR this time will be a PowerPoint. The video had to be done in MP4 format.
